A University police report states alcohol could be obtained for those under the age of 21 and IDs were not always checked during a fraternity party last month where a Georgia College and State University student claimed she was raped.

The Athens Banner-Herald reported Saturday that Athens-Clarke police have yet to determine if the woman was sexually assaulted because the Georgia Bureau of Investigation's State Crime Lab hasn't completed its report.

A website where UNC Charlotte students bought and sold exams is under investigation today. The school's administration has launched an inquiry into the legality of Keeboh.com, a website operated by former SGA Chief of Staff Simon O'Brien.

The website promotes itself as a study aid, offering students the means to more efficiently prepare for class.

Four Salem students functioned as key forces that enabled Salem College to host a visit by Chelsea Clinton last Friday.

Salem sophomores Trish Ryan and Erin Hylton, along with seniors Emily Maginn and Sara Shields, who are currently participating in the "Hillary for President" campaign in Winston-Salem, attended a talk given by Chelsea Clinton in a Winston-Salem home on Sunday, April 27.

Refectory re-inspection finds high score and changes

A little more than a week after the Refectory received a sanitation score of 84, a re-inspection produced a new score of 95 - and praise from both the inspector and students.

Immediate responses to the initial score included school authorities emailing students to assure everyone that actions were being taken to end problems.

A University fraternity may face disciplinary action from the Office of Judicial Programs following a report that a woman was possibly raped at one of their parties, according to a newspaper report. The Athens Banner-Herald reported University police discovered possible violations of the University code of conduct as they talked to people who attended a Phi Gamma Delta party April 19.

Mount Holly police are investigating the death of a UNC Charlotte student today. The body of 20-yr-old Irina Yarmolenko was found Monday afternoon in the North Carolina town, lying a few feet from her car.

At 1:15pm on Monday, police officers were called out to the Waters Edge development.

UNCG is on the map this week, with Spartan TV hosting a debate between four of the five Democratic candidates for U.S. Senate. Sen. Kay Hagan, Jim Neal, Dr. Howard Staley and Marcus Williams have all agreed to participate in the station's debate, which will be the first televised debate they have all agreed to.
